    CALL FOR SHORT SYMPOSIA

  • For the first time, the worldwide catalysis community can directly contribute to the building of the scientific programme of ICC.

The general call for contributions will be build around three entries. When submitting, one will have to select one general field, one Approach/Methodology field and one Application field which best describe the topic of the work submitted. These are shown in first page of the template. Any combination will be possible generating a matrix through which the program of ICC2024 will be built. Clearly, some combinations may be missing, as well as recent emerging topics/methods. For this reason, several sessions will be reserved for topics emerging from discussions within the catalysis community.

These will be in supplement to the topics chosen by the Scientific Committee and should obviously not be included in the matrix approach described above. Any topic of interest for the catalysis community can be proposed. The main criteria will be originality and widespread interest. Reserved sessions for topics emerging from this initiative will, typically, include a keynote lecture and 5-8 oral communications as well as posters. But proposals may also include more original session formats (e.g. round table, …).

To help anyone interested in suggesting and discussing topics with the community, a dedicated thread has been opened in the Build Your ICC! forum. Simply register to the forum (free of charge) and start participating in building your ICC.

Associations of chairs from several countries are encouraged. The scientific committee will select among proposals submitted based on the following template.
